Achieving a natural, green and eco-friendly home cleaning and care gives a freshening and spring feel for your home. Going green is a significant concern for me and vinegar is a must have all time. Micheal Mullen observes that 5 % of vinegar kills 99% of all bacteria, 82% of all molds and 80% of germs and viruses. Vinegar is an antibacterial product.  Vinegar is a mild acid, a trait that makes it a great multipurpose cleaner around the house or any other product equally green, safe and healthy doing a better job. Vinegar can be put into use solely, combined with baking soda or as an ingredient in a homemade household cleaner. I do love going green always. The following are smart green cleaning benefits using vinegar giving you a delighting impact. They include:

  1. Kill fungus on toes and skin

Apple and cider vinegar commonly abbreviated as ACV has antibacterial and antifungal compounds making an excellent natural remedy for skin and toenail fungus. It is usually rubbed on the area of rust two times daily.

  1. Remove candle wax

There is no doubt that candles are great for creating a romantic mood, but the atmosphere neutralizes once you get melted candle wax on your furniture. When removing it, first soften the wax with a blow-dryer and blot it up with paper towels. For the remaining part, remove it by rubbing a cloth soaked in a solution of vinegar and water then wipe with a clean cloth.

  1. Brightening teacups and coffee cups

Vinegar does the brightening of tea mugs and coffee cups but not as much as when mixed with salt and baking soda. You can achieve this by gently scrubbing stains with equal portion of vinegar, salt and baking soda for brighter cups. You ought to try this task, and you will wonder why you didn’t try this sooner.

  1. Revitalizing wood paneling

If your wood paneling in your den assumes a dull and dreary look, vinegar will do a good job. This simple homemade remedy will require you to mix warm water plus apple cider vinegar and olive oil. After shaking the mixture, use a clean cloth to apply on the wood then leave it for some minutes to soak into the wood then wipe with a dry cloth.

  1. Deodorizing

Usually, lunch boxes can have you hold your breath every time you open them. Since this is embarrassing, you need to save your child. A quick deodorizing treatment is all you need to do. Have a slice of white bread soak in white vinegar and leave it in the lunchbox overnight. I bet the smell will have gone by morning.

As a household cleaner, vinegar can be used to do anything ranging from stain removal, unclogging drains, disinfecting, deodorize and also to remove stickers. In fact, every room in your house will gain from vinegar in some way or its combination.
