Flat Rate Maids strongly believes in open communication with our customers. Here is an overview of our companies and what you can expect working with us. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Is Flat Rate Maids a Franchise?
No. We are an independent cleaning company, which means that we can offer the flexibility and customized services that our customers deserve.
Will I Need to Sign a Contract?
We do not require our customers to sign contractors before working with us. While we have long-standing relationships with many of our customers, we also want to make sure that they have the freedom to change or cancel their services at any time.
Are You Available to Work on Saturdays?
We are available to work on most Saturdays. Please contact us in advance to confirm our availability and make accommodations.
Can I Make Special Requests in Advance?
Since we are not a franchise, we are able to customize the services that we offer to our customers. Please let us know about any special requests ahead of time and we will do everything possible to accommodate them.
When is Payment Made?
Payment is expected on the day of service. However, we can make special accommodations if you speak to us in advance.
What Forms of Payment are Accepted?
We accept cash or check on scheduled cleanings. A fee may be charged for returned checks, cash only for move in/out cleaning services.
Should I Tip the Cleaning Staff?
Tipping is not required, but it is still appreciated if you are happy with the services.
Who Will Clean My Home?
We typically send a team of two cleaning professionals to every residence. To provide consistent and efficient service, we try to send the same team to your home for every visit.
Why Are Some Cleaning Services Cheaper?
Some companies are not as committed to customer satisfaction as Flat Rate Maids, so they are able to charge lower fees. Of course, you need to remember the adage “you get what you pay for.”
Do You Provide a Satisfaction Guarantee?
Flat Rate Maid is only content if our customers are 100% satisfied with the services that we provide. We provide a thorough walk after our cleaning service is provided. Our customer have the opportunity to point out any areas of concern. We will address those immediately.
How Can I Provide Feedback About Services?
We believe in open communication with our customers, so we encourage customers to address any concerns as soon as possible. We can schedule a quality control meeting at your convenience.
What if I Have Pets?
Please pickup after your pets and make sure that they are secured before our staff arrives at your house. Our staff won’t clean if they feel unsafe around your pets. They also may need to hold doors open to bring in cleaning supplies and don’t want your pets to get outside.
What if I Have a Scheduled Appointment on a Holiday?
If your regular appointment falls on a holiday, then contact us to reschedule for a more convenient date.
What Are Your Cancellation Policies?
We expect customers to contact us at least 48 hours in advance if they need to cancel their appointment. A cancellation fee may be charged if timely notice isn’t given.
Do I Need to Be Home While You Are Cleaning?
You don’t need to be present while we are cleaning, but you need to make sure that we have access to your house. Your best option is to arrange a secure place for Flat Rate Maids to retrieve your house key.
What Do I Need to Provide?
We provide all of our own cleaning supplies. Please let us know in advance if you want to use any special products to clean your home.
